From delicate white teas to ripe pu erh brews, this experience offers a comprehensive introduction to the diverse world of tea. Hosted at the serene Baiyues Tea House, immerse yourself in the rich culture and tradition of tea from A to Z.

Ancestral Shan Tea Mountains Study Tour with the Baiyue Tribes
Duration: Half-day, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM aprox.
Cost: $90 per person
Embark on an unforgettable journey into the heart of the Vietnamese highlands with our Ancestral Shan Tea Mountains Study Tour. Explore breathtaking mountain vistas and immerse yourself in the indigenous knowledge of the Red Dzao Tribes. Witness the ancient art of tea processing amidst the untamed beauty of northern Vietnam, where tea thrives in the wild and is lovingly harvested by local communities.
Activities include tea picking and hands-on participation in the creation of fermented tea products such as bamboo tea, puerh tea cakes, white peony tea, bundled white tea, red tea, and more (subject to availability). A meal prepared by locals is included, providing an authentic culinary experience. Meet at Baiyues Tea House before embarking on a scenic journey to the ancestral Than Shea Mountains, located approximately 90 minutes away. Participants are responsible for their transportation, though additional transportation services can be arranged upon request for an extra fee. Please note that this experience is weather-dependent and may not be available during rainy days/seasons.

Experiencing Tea Processing with Baiyue Tribes
Cost: $45 per person per day.
As a participant, you will have the opportunity to explore the stunning mountain landscapes and delve into the intricacies of tea picking and processing alongside various indigenous practices of the hill tribes of Northern Vietnam. This program is tailored for travelers seeking to immerse themselves in the region's natural beauty, tea enthusiasts eager to deepen their understanding, and business-minded entrepreneurs looking for valuable insights into the tea industry. Our immersive program offers an authentic, meaningful, and inspiring experience. While many components of our program remain consistent, certain activities may vary depending on the season and weather conditions.
Participants can expect to engage in enriching activities for approximately 4-5 hours a day, five days a week. Activities may include crafting fermented tea products such as Bamboo tea, puerh tea cakes, white peony tea, bundled white tea, red tea, and more; traditional bamboo and straw paper making, culinary experiences featuring local cuisine, interaction with guests and visitors during tea tastings at the Tea House, assisting in field education workshops for local youth, collaborating with local tea startups, and promoting small businesses through social media. Occasional physical tasks like tea picking and gardening may also be included, with flexibility to accommodate individual abilities.
